Hello!
I am Jenna, a certified Pilates instructor with extensive training in Pilates. I teach both classical and modern Pilates, from beginners to advanced levels, taking into consideration clients' possible limitations and individual needs to the best of my ability.
In Pilates class, we learn to activate the deep core muscles and build movement upon this activation. Your breath rhythmically guides each movement, and Pilates' lateral breathing can provide assistance, for example, in relieving tension in the back. Pilates is a body control technique that develops various aspects such as control, strength, mobility, coordination, and balance. Pilates maintains and improves posture while keeping the spine healthy. Pilates is a highly versatile and holistic mind & body discipline.
Additionally, I am trained as a somatic stretching instructor and also teach kettlebell classes and circuit workouts in the gym.
I am both a gentle and technically precise instructor. I believe that a good, relaxed atmosphere provides the best conditions for exercise and learning something new, helping you listen to the messages of your body and mind. My classes are cheerful and supportive, and you can confidently join them just as you are. I am enthusiastic about anatomy-related questions and challenges, and I am happy to adapt exercises to individual needs.
In addition to Pilates, I enjoy running and going to the gym. I have also been playing the piano from a very young age. Movement and music are truly a fantastic duo, both together and separately - they bring joy, energy, and strength to each day!
